Re-Opening Plans

As Sargent Baptist Church looks to re-open, we wish to do so responsibly toward our congregation and our community. We resumed our Sunday morning services at 11am with certain requirements in place for the health of our congregation. Please enter through one door labeled "Enter". Wear a mask until you find your seat in the sanctuary. You are free to remove the mask once seated only if you are maintaining a safe distance from others. We are dismissing in stages so everyone is not leaving in mass. You must place your mask back on as you exit the building through the door labeled "Exit".

At this time our Sunday school and Wednesday night ministries will be suspended indefinitely. Our pastor, along with the deacon ministry, want to be as cautious as possible during such uncertainty. As they meet every other month, this suspension will be evaluated to see if these ministries can be resumed safely. Our Sunday service will be canceled only if there is the threat of another state or national pandemic. We do understand that some of you may not feel comfortable returning for a while longer. We will continue to monitor the situation and follow guidelines that are given by the CDC.
